The Study Behind The Protocol:

This accelerated TMS protocol is modeled after the ONE-D study: “One-Day Theta Burst Stimulation for Treatment-Resistant Depression” (Vaughn, Marino, Downar et al., 2025, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Journal).

The trial enrolled 32 patients with treatment-resistant major depressive disorder. All 32 completed the full 20-session day. No serious adverse events were reported.

Results at six weeks (HDRS-17): 87.5% response rate and 71.9% remission rate

Results at 12 weeks: 84.4% response rate and 50% sustained remission at 6 months

Response followed a delayed, exponential trajectory peaking at weeks 4–6. This mirrors the biology of neuroplasticity, not the profile of a sedative or stimulant. The brain is rewiring, and that process takes time even when the treatment itself is complete.

We are not affiliated with the study authors or their institutions. Our accelerated TMS protocol is modeled after their published methodology.

The Role of D-cycloserine

What makes the ONE-D protocol distinct isn’t just the session volume,  it’s the augmentation strategy.

D-cycloserine (DCS) is an NMDA receptor partial agonist that primes the brain for neuroplasticity. Prior randomized controlled trials showed DCS augmentation increased TMS remission rates from 18% to between 39–75%. The accelerated TMS protocol administers DCS before each of the 20 sessions,  maximizing the plasticity window across the entire treatment day.

This is not a medication in the traditional psychiatric sense. DCS has a long safety record (it was originally developed as an antibiotic) and is used here specifically for its neuroplasticity-enhancing properties with one low single dose.

What the Day Looks Like

You’ll arrive at our Las Vegas clinic for a scheduled start time. The day is structured around 20 iTBS sessions with 30-minute inter-session intervals. Between sessions, you can read, watch something, rest, or talk with our team. You’ll be in a comfortable reclining chair. Each stimulation session takes approximately 3 minutes. The scalp sensation is real, most patients describe it as a rhythmic tapping or mild pressure but it’s well-tolerated. You will not be sedated. You can drive home afterward. A companion is welcome to accompany you for part or all of the day, many patients appreciate having someone there, particularly in the afternoon.

Cost of Our 1-Day Accelerated TMS Protocol:

$2,995 is the full cost of this protocol. No per-session fees, no hidden costs.

For comparison: a traditional 6-week rTMS course at a typical $60 specialist copay across 36 visits = $2,160 out of pocket, minimum, before deductibles, coinsurance, or prior authorization delays. That doesn’t account for six weeks of transportation costs and time away from work.

Our in-house payment plans make the $2,995 accessible for patients who want to spread the cost over time. Ask us about current options during your consultation.

Is TMS FDA-approved?
TMS is FDA-cleared for the treatment of depression. Other uses may be considered based on clinical evaluation.
No. It can be used alongside existing care or as an alternative when other approaches have not been effective.
TMS is non-invasive and generally well tolerated. A provider will review risks and determine eligibility.
Response times vary. Some patients notice changes early, while others improve gradually over a treatment plan.

No. Patients remain awake during sessions and typically resume normal activities immediately.

Candidates are typically individuals who have not experienced sufficient improvement from traditional treatments. A provider determines eligibility.

Your Treatment Journey: What to Expect With TMS

We’ve refined our process to make treatment accessible, comfortable, and effective. From your first call to your final session and beyond, we’re with you every step of the way.

Free Consultation Call

Speak with our clinical team about your history, symptoms, and treatment goals. We’ll explain honestly whether TMS is right for you. No pressure, just clarity. Average call time: 20-30 minutes.

Comprehensive Assessment

In-person evaluation including symptom scales, treatment history review, and brain mapping. We identify the precise regions to target and create your personalized protocol. Insurance verification completed.

Treatment Sessions Begin

Typically 5 sessions per week for 4-6 weeks. Each session lasts 20-40 minutes. You remain awake and alert, and can read or listen to music. Most patients fit sessions into their work schedule.

Progress Monitoring

Weekly symptom assessments track your improvement. We adjust protocols as needed based on your response. Most patients notice changes within 2-3 weeks, with continued improvement throughout treatment.

Taper and Maintenance

As you improve, we gradually reduce session frequency. Many patients complete treatment in 6-8 weeks. We provide strategies to maintain gains and are available for occasional “tune-up” sessions if needed.
