The Study Behind The Protocol:
This protocol is modeled after the Stanford Neuromodulation Therapy (SNT) study, commonly referred to as the SAINT protocol, published in JAMA Psychiatry (Cole et al., 2022).
The trial results: 78.6% remission rate vs. 13.3% sham at day 5
Mean time to remission: 2.6 days
Design: 10 iTBS sessions per day × 5 days = 50 sessions total
The original Stanford study used fMRI-guided targeting to individualize coil placement. Our protocol delivers equivalent session volume and timing using validated scalp heuristics making it accessible at a fraction of the cost without fMRI infrastructure.
We are not affiliated with Stanford University or the SNT study authors. Our protocol is modeled after their published methodology.
Why 50 Sessions Over 5 Days Works:
The core insight behind accelerated TMS is that neuroplasticity is time-sensitive. The brain's capacity for lasting synaptic change peaks in the hours following stimulation. Delivering multiple sessions within a single day leverages sequential plasticity windows, compounding the effect of each session on network dynamics.
Fifty sessions in five days doesn't just accumulate stimulation volume. It exploits the biology of how neurons consolidate change. Traditional once-daily TMS misses this window entirely.

Many patients who come to us for the Five-Day Intensive, especially those traveling from out of state, don't have an established psychiatrist or therapist. That's not a barrier to treatment here.
Our team includes a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who provides medication management and talk therapy in-house. If you arrive without an existing care team, we can serve as your primary mental health provider before, during, and after your TMS course.
This matters most in the weeks following your intensive. The neuroplasticity window TMS opens is most powerful when something is happening in it. Whether that's ongoing medication management, structured talk therapy, or simply a provider who knows your history and can track your progress, we're here for that.
Each day involves 10 TMS sessions with approximately 50-minute rest intervals between each. Sessions themselves take approximately 9 minutes of active stimulation. You'll be in a comfortable reclining chair throughout reading, resting, or watching something between sessions.
A typical day runs about 10 hours. You won't be sedated. You can drive home each evening.
Many patients begin noticing some change during treatment, with full changes taking 4-6 weeks to fully become noticeable.
This protocol is strong fit if you:
Want the most evidence-backed accelerated option available
Can commit five consecutive days to treatment
Have treatment-resistant depression or haven't found sufficient relief through medication
It may not be the best fit if you:
Can only commit a single day (consider the 1-Day Intensive)
Want to use insurance (this is a cash-pay protocol)
$7,995 is the full cost of this protocol. No per-session fees, no hidden costs.
In-house payment plans are available. Ask us about current options during your consultation.
For patients weighing this against a traditional six-week course: the total cost of traditional TMS including copays, deductibles, transportation, and six weeks of schedule disruption often rivals or exceeds the cash-pay cost of the five-day option, with meaningfully lower published remission rates.
The five-day format is highly practical for out-of-town patients. Many patients fly into Las Vegas or Salt Lake City, stay nearby for the week, and return home after day five. Our location pages include hotel recommendations and travel guidance specifically for patients coming from out of state.
TMS is FDA-cleared for the treatment of depression. Other uses may be considered based on clinical evaluation.
No. It can be used alongside existing care or as an alternative when other approaches have not been effective.
TMS is non-invasive and generally well tolerated. A provider will review risks and determine eligibility.
Response times vary. Some patients notice changes early, while others improve gradually over a treatment plan.
No. Patients remain awake during sessions and typically resume normal activities immediately.
Candidates are typically individuals who have not experienced sufficient improvement from traditional treatments. A provider determines eligibility.
We've refined our process to make treatment accessible, comfortable, and effective. From your first call to your final session and beyond, we're with you every step of the way.
Speak with our clinical team about your history, symptoms, and treatment goals. We'll explain honestly whether TMS is right for you. No pressure, just clarity. Average call time: 20-30 minutes.
In-person evaluation including symptom scales, treatment history review, and brain mapping. We identify the precise regions to target and create your personalized protocol. Insurance verification completed.
Typically 5 sessions per week for 4-6 weeks. Each session lasts 20-40 minutes. You remain awake and alert, and can read or listen to music. Most patients fit sessions into their work schedule.
Weekly symptom assessments track your improvement. We adjust protocols as needed based on your response. Most patients notice changes within 2-3 weeks, with continued improvement throughout treatment.
As you improve, we gradually reduce session frequency. Many patients complete treatment in 6-8 weeks. We provide strategies to maintain gains and are available for occasional "tune-up" sessions if needed.
A brief conversation is all it takes. No pressure, no commitment - just clarity.
